We source and recruit people from diverse backgrounds, train and equip them with business or technical skills through our in-house training academy and then embed them with clients on a 2-year work placement.

Who/What is Quantexa?

Quantexa was built with a purpose that through a greater understanding of data and context, better decisions can be made. Their technology manages, transforms and cleanses high volume data, helping clients solve business problems in the area of fraud, compliance and financial crime. Their products process huge volumes of data with the ultimate aim of detecting anomalous and suspicious activity. The user interface they provide enables users to conduct complex investigations into fraud and financial crime cases and visualise complex networks of criminal activity.

  • Free Training - This is a fully fundedhybrid training programme, so we take on the cost of your training but you would require you to support yourself financially during your 9-week training academy (after the 2 week onboarding our Quantexa programme is self-study and remote).

  • Our Client Placements are LONDON based - you will not be required to travel/relocate outside of Greater London.

What we are looking for:

  • You don’t have to have a degree but if not, you will come from a STEM background, have relevant commercial experience and/or have attended a programming bootcamp.
  • You will have a passion for technology, with strong experience in a programming language, such as: Python, Scala, SQL, Cloud (AWS/GCP), PowerBI/Tableau. Don’t worry, you don’t have to be experienced in all these languages – proficiency in one these languages, or something similar, will be enough. Python/Scala preferred
  • You will be proactive in learning new technologies and their practical applications. Much of this course required self-study and the ability to motivate and attend sessions with minimal oversight
  • You will have an interest in learning how to communicate and present technical projects to clients, and you will already possess the communication skills to underpin this.
  • You will be someone who has a strong attention to detail and high accuracy and resilience to enable you to excel in a dynamic environment.
  • Resilience whilst learning Quantexa is key as can be challenging and you need to be self-motivated.

The End Result:

Upskilled – You will be an upskilled and qualified Quantexa Engineer. Work with our clients on implementing large-scale Quantexa product solutions for the purposes of Anti-Money Laundering (AML), fraud detection, forensic investigation. You will become fluent in coding using Scala, with a strong understanding of Quantexa full stack programming.

Client Ready – You will be equipped with the capabilities to be an exceptional Consultant

Industry Experience – You will gain commercial experience. add additional projects to your portfolio and the platform demonstrate your data engineering expertise.
